Britnee Kinard, President and Founder of SD Gunner Fund, is a HUD and National Fair Housing Advocates certified instructor. The SD Gunner fund trains and provides service animals to Veterans and children with disabilities all at no cost to the recipient through donations and fundraising.
Britnee presents information to individuals, small businesses, and corporate entities on how to legally abide by laws and regulations in regards to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), service animals, and emotional support animals. This class will also teach staff how to differentiate between a real and fake service animal, as well as help attendees understand the difference between therapy, service, and emotional support animals, as well as the documentation required.
The session will end with a Q&A session where attendees will be asked for real-life scenarios that will be used to help you understand the correct actions to take.
